This two-day tournament brings together chess enthusiasts from around the region to compete across multiple rounds in a Swiss-style format. Whether you’re aiming for trophies, rating boosts, or just the thrill of strategic combat, this is the event for you.
Open to players of all ages and levels, the Sapphire Open encourages sportsmanship, focus, and community spirit.

Format & Rules
Tournament Type:6-Round Swiss
Time Control:25 min + 10 sec increment
Rated:USCF/FIDE (depending on the category)
Tie-Breakers: Buchholz system
Equipment:Boards and clocks provided
Code of Conduct: Players must follow standard FIDE etiquette.
